The course covers development of ideas, the realities of protecting Intellectual Property and tips on improving and explaining your ideas. It will focus on taking your idea to market, concentrating on looking at market potential, valuing your invention, finding customers, collaborators and routes to finance. In addition you will explore the concept of invention and innovation and be provided with practical tools to help you market to both potential investors and customers.

This course is ideal for anyone who has an idea or invention that they believe has the potential for success. It is delivered by speakers, including Andy Priscott and Tim Staniland, with real life experience in turning an idea into a commercially successful product and is a strong introduction to what is involved in launching a new product.
